Why should I take classes at the Beloved St. John Evangelistic Bible Institute (BSJEBI)?
The Word of God commands us to “study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim 2:15). Taking classes at BSJEBI also allows us to meet new people who are developing their knowledge of God’s Word as well. BSJEBI is where you can grow with other Christians while building lasting relationships and learning God’s plan for your life.
Is there a certain order in which I must take courses?
That depends on God’s plan for your role or work in ministry. If you desire to pursue higher education by attending an accredited Bible College or seminary, teach at a Bible Institute, evangelize (from the pulpit or as an outreach worker) or simply become more knowledgeable about Scripture, then the ETA (Evangelical Training Association) program would be your best option. Otherwise, you can simply take classes of interest to you and still earn credits towards ETA certification. As you begin your studies, BSJEBI requires that you start with our Foundational Theology tract which includes basic Bible courses.
Can I take more than one course at a time?
Of course; however, be mindful that these are serious subjects, and our teachers come prepared to teach. Each course will require homework, studying, research papers, mid-terms and final exams.
Is there a time limit to complete each course?
Most courses are 12-weeks long for which you can earn a maximum of 18 classroom hours.
Can I receive college credit for the courses I take at BSJEBI?
You can earn ETA credits for which you can receive college credit; however, certain terms and conditions apply to be eligible to receive this credit. Please contact BSJEBI administration for more information.
How and when can I register for courses?
Registration typically runs for 4 to 5 weeks prior to the start of the fall, spring and summer semesters. During that time there are a few ways you can register for BSJEBI courses. You can register in-person after each church service on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings; or you can mail your registration.
How old must I be in order to take courses at BSJEBI?
Age 18 and older. We plan to offer classes for youth in the near future.
Upon completion of a course, what should I expect?
You should expect to receive a report card at the successful completion of each class. Every June we have an awards ceremony where you can invite your family and friends to attend as you are presented with a certificate of completion, and/or an ETA award card, and any honorary awards you may have earned during the academic year.
How can I stay informed about BSJEBI news and events?
By visiting the church’s website. Also, we post upcoming events and announcements in the church’s newsletter as well as send out mailers to students, church members, and visitors.
Do I have to be a member of Beloved St. John Evangelistic Church in order to take classes at BSJEBI?
Absolutely not! All students are invited to attend BSJEBI classes regardless of church membership or affiliation. Our mission is to pursue excellence in Christian education for the entire Body of Christ!
Are scholarships available if I have difficulty paying for courses?
While we do not currently offer scholarships, we do receive generous donations from church members and fellow students who want to be a blessing to those who cannot afford to take classes. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and we make no guarantees that we can offer financial support to everyone who requests it.

How can I be saved?
God’s plan of salvation is for you to first believe in the death, burial and resurrection of his son, Jesus Christ, and that he died that you might be saved. Simply, ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to come into your heart today. Tell Him that you make Him your Lord and Savior. From this point onward, you are saved. Get connected to a Bible-based church where you can continue to grow in your relationship with the Lord. We certainly welcome you to visit Beloved St. John Evangelistic Church where the pure unadulterated Word of God is preached and taught every week.
