What to Expect
Arrival Time
Many people arrive 30 minutes early. We encourage you to arrive before our 7:45 am Early Morning Worship for prayer beginning at 7 am and at 10 am for Sunday School.
Parking
While our parking lot space is limited, Beloved is blessed with ample street parking. You will find parking on Broad Street and other surrounding streets.
What to Wear
From sneakers to suits, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress up, we're just happy to see you.
Worship Style
We are blessed to have many musicians. Each week we rotate through different groups who help bring us to a place of worship.
Teaching Style
Each service and Sunday School class shares a Biblically-focused message. We love to learn.

Children
The Children’s Ministry provides a safe environment and spiritual support to children ages 2 to 11 during Mid-Day Worship Sunday service. The goal of the Children’s Ministry is to provide children with fun learning opportunities, so they are motivated to learn more about Jesus and how they can apply the word of God to their lives.
Congregational Care
The Congregational Care Ministry provides support to members of Beloved St. John Evangelistic Church. The ministry works to connect members to church leadership and other members through the Beloved St. John Evangelistic Church CARE program.
Congregational Care also works closely with new members in order to embrace and welcome them into the church family. The ministry assists new members in becoming established in the church body and educates them on the vision, mission, doctrines, disciples and direction of the ministry. New members will also discover their gifts and style and how that gifting is unique and needed in the Kingdom of God.
Beloved St. John Evangelistic Bible Institute
The Beloved St. John Evangelistic Bible Institute was established in 1999 and provides an adult learning environment for individuals eighteen (18) years of age and older. The purpose of the Bible School is to teach Godly life principles and assist in the development of the believers’ knowledge and understanding of the word of God. The Bible School is equipped with competent Christian teachers and offers hands on practical application of classroom instruction. Classes are offered five different days throughout the week, including Saturdays, consisting of twelve (12) week academic sessions.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry ministers to teens that are in grades 6 through 12. Every Sunday, the youth have service called Teen Church. During this time, they are ministered to and become more familiar with the word of God. The goal of the ministry is to encourage and guide youth as they develop a true and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Additionally, this ministry provides faith-based group discussions, age appropriate activities, and group outings to ensure that youth are involved in the ministry, but most importantly that they are excited to learn more about Christ and impact those around them.
Virtuous Christians Women's Ministry
The Virtuous Christian Women’s Ministry’s mission is to nurture and minister to women, while also encouraging and equipping them to grow spiritually. Lives of women are enriched and spirits are ministered to, as relevant topics are shared and discussed via open panel discussions and individual speakers.
Men of Standard Men's Ministry
The purpose of The Men of Standard Men’s Ministry is to assist men in their spiritual development. This ministry is built upon Godly principles. As men meet in unity, God’s word is taught and men share of the goodness and mercy of Christ in their lives, as they exhort and encourage one another. The goal of this ministry is to equip men so they can become effective Christian leaders in their homes as well as within the body of Christ.
Marriage Enrichment Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to provide Biblical guidance to married couples, teaching them how to enhance their marriages through the word of God and working toward oneness in Jesus Christ. The goal of the ministry is to help establish homes where Jesus Christ is the center.
Single Saved & Soaring Singles Ministry
Single, Saved and Soaring
The Single, Saved and Soaring Ministry was established for Christian Adults where they can learn of God’s will for the single person and find wholeness and fulfillment in Christ. Our mission is to help strengthen unmarried Christians with Christ driven purpose. The ministry exists to meet the needs of the body of Christ by focusing on singles being healthy physically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. This is done through activities such as open forum discussions where singles’ related issues are discussed, speakers to encourage and fellowships with church members as well as other singles’ ministries within the body of Christ.
We are sold out for Christ and we are here to encourage and build the body, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and undergird the Shepherd and Angel of our house at Beloved St. John Evangelistic Church. We will stand on God’s promises to grant us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4) as we continue to seek Jesus first in all we do (Matthew 6:33).
